Organized by Beirut Association for Social Development, a non-profit founded in 1998, AFKART is a large-scale arts & crafts yearly exhibition. Its main objectiveis to encourage and reveal talented artists, painters, crafts people and designers, in addition to creating jobs opportunities. Its programs target social, economical, cultural and educational problems. BASD's mission is dedicated to improve the quality of life and to help all people realize their fullest potential through development of the spirit, mind and body.
BASD Cultural Center welcomes creative artists originating from
different fields, whose work is original and non commercial, giving them
the opportunity to meet and interact with the public in select spaces. In exhibitions, visitors come to discover unique gift ideas from
exhibitors such as designers, fine artists, sculptors, craft artisans,
fashion and accessories designers and more. Creative items that aren't
